Goals, Objectives and Strategies (Action Plans)
The major goals for the plan period are as under
- To provide Global competitive Faculty Development & Excellence.
- To create Outcome based & Globally Sustainable Academic Excellence.
- To develop & integrate quality related Multidisciplinary research studies, Innovation, Entrepreneurship Development & scholarship to meet global challenges.
- To provide & internalize public engagement, outreach activities & Extension activities to transform students.
- To develop & empower women in nation building.
- To provide good governance & collaborate with stakeholders for quality education.
Objectives
- Increase the size of the competent faculty members as per the work load with global perspective.
- Provide quality of faculty in strategically important areas with global standards.
- Significantly increase the diversity of faculty through new hires and enhanced retention efforts.
- Ensure competitive faculty compensation within the norms of the institution.
- Develop and implement policies to retain high valued faculty.
- Device and implement new mechanism or policies for rewarding outstanding faculty based on performance.
- Foster an exciting intellectual environment by providing opportunities.
- Develop ways to enable faculty to focus their time on being highly productive in their core academic activities (Teaching, Learning, Research, Creativity and Social Responsibility).
- Provide financial support to attend and organize to faculty development programs with orientation and Refresher courses enhancing faculty excellence to meet the challenges in academic excellence.
- Take initiatives for in-house projects on Social Sciences with Multidisciplinary Approach, Outcome Based Education, and Pedagogical Tools, Several Themes on Indian Knowledge System and other contemporary issues and challenges.
- To make it mandatory for applying projects sponsored by ICSSR/AICTE/UGC/Any other statutory or non-Statutory authorities to enhance faculty capabilities.
Objectives
- To promote, create and sustain a culture that supports teaching excellence in all academic programs and courses across departments.
- To enter extensively collaboration agreements & Memorandum of Understanding for curricular & Co-curricular activities.
- Strengthen institutional practice that promote pedagogical innovations & implement them for all the programs for imparting academic inputs effectively.
- Provide a more unified and shared educational experience for undergraduates with multidisciplinary approach.
- Promoting curricular delivery with outcome based education with inputs from contemporary issues & challenges including Indian Knowledge System, Skill & Capacity building, Personality Development and allied themes in a competitive environment.
- Promoting value-based education in a phased manner especially providing certified courses and imparting skill sets for enhancing employment opportunities.
- Strengthen the educational impact of national and international opportunities and experiences for students to be relevant in competitive global environment.
- Encouraging and providing internship for advanced learners and bridge courses for slow leaners.
- Promote the health and well-being of students (under-graduate, graduate and professional) as a foundation for academic and life success.

Objectives
- To promote, develop and sustain Research Culture among Faculty & Students to ultimately translate the research into innovation & Entrepreneurship development Process.
- Build and sustain national level & global level standards in research in all the Departments of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Commerce and Business Management.
- To take up core research projects in IKS with MDA, Skill Development, Pedagogical tools and several contemporary issues and challenges sponsored by AICTE, ICSSR, CSIR, UGC/other Statutory and Non-Statutory organizations and also in-house studies.
- Strengthen support for important multidisciplinary/inter- disciplinary areas, while ensuring excellence in disciplines as foundation.
- Significantly improve institution vide services for the administration and support of research grants (including Government and Other sources).
- Maintain and selectively strengthen in cost effective ways core infrastructure for research, scholarship and creativity, including in particular libraries and share research facilities.
- Taking measures for e-learning, e-library and learning management systems (LMS).
- To conduct and also participate Seminars, Symposium, Conferences, Workshop to promote Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development.
Objectives
- Make social responsibility and public engagement a distinctive feature at St. Pious X in major areas viz health, Education, integrating with the issues of senior citizens & slum areas and environmental concerns.
- Make social responsibility and public engagement a distinctive feature of education.
- Construct a unified concept and vision for St. Pious social responsibility mission and public.
- Develop rigorous and systematic evaluations of all reach and extension activities
- Consciously connect social responsibility in Public engagement to on campus research and educational strengths Action.
- Promote and develop stronger collaborations between St. Pious X and stake holders - NGOs, Neighborhood, other agencies engaged in the task of public engagement

Objectives

Objectives
- To bring awareness, promote, educate, train and facilitate norms for Women’s economic empowerment.
- To enlighten, educate, facilitate and extend legal protections and reforms and regulations
- To enlighten, facilitate, educate, train and provide Personal Empowerment, Relational empowerment, Societal empowerment and Cultural Empowerment – focusing on cognitive, psychological and relating with economic components of empowerment.
- To educate and train on process-oriented nature and Holistic nature of empowerment
- To educate on the strategic gender interests & providing awareness and training on Life Skills on Women Empowerment focusing on long run perspective.
- To conduct seminars, workshops, symposia and awareness camps with in the College and Other Institutions and other forums on all the above themes and allied themes and draw resolutions for further publications and research.
- To promote, facilitate and conduct Research on Women Empowerment.
- To contribute to the literature and research of women empowerment with periodical publications within the institution and outside.
