A survey was conducted by PEARL Committee of St. Pious X Degree and PG College for Women at Janagaon on Dec 17 under Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, a Central Govt. of India initiative. 16 students from I MBA and 4 faculty of MBA department of the college went as a team who surveyed 750 households in 5 villages of Jangoan district These 5 villages are adopted by our college on 17th December 2019 as an Institutional social responsibility.
The volunteers of UBA , Mrs.D.Geetha Reddy, the faculty members Mrs.Paleena, Mrs.Anika Mrs. Swarnalatha and Mrs.Sandhya, the Coordinator from MGNCRE went to Yellamla village, Janagoan with the volunteers to develop a village development plan and to make a resource map of the village at Grampanchayat office at Yellamla, Janagoan District . Students interacted with the villagers about their basic amenities and their difficulties.
