The Department of Computer Science conducted an extension activity “Pious Lab to Local Network” in association with PEARL Wing (An ISR Wing of the college) FROM 02.12.2024 TO 06.12.2024 for 5 days. 18 students of Holy Angels School, Nacharam from Class VI to X attended the classes and learnt basics of computers, MS Paint, Formatting features and other basics of MS Word, Basics of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Internet. Students of II M.Sc. (Maths with CS) had taken part in this activity as a community service program.
On July 20, 2024, the Computer Science department organized a career counselling session, offering students expert guidance on navigating the vast landscape of career opportunities and pathways in the field of computer science, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.

Celebrations
Department of Computer Science had organized Independence Day Celebrations on 15th August 2025. The Department had conducted Creative Writing, Group singing, Group dance and Elocution competitions marking the celebrations. Prof Pardhasaradhi is the Chief Guest of the occasion.
On 15th August 2025 Department of Computer Science along with NCC and Sports committee together had organised 79th Independence day celebrations. As a part of it Computer Science Department had conducted various competitions like Group dance, Group singing, Creative Writing and Elocution competitions from 11th to 14th of August 2025.The Department of Computer Science organised Christmas Celebrations for all students which included various competitions providing students a platform to showcase their skills and creativity. Over the course of the celebrations from 12th to 23rd December, a variety of themes, performances, and competitions were performed by various departments from 9:10 to 9:30 every day.

The workshop, held on February 27 and 28, 2026, was organized by CHRIST (Deemed to be University) at the Bangalore Bannerghatta Road Campus.
