• Department of Computer Science had signed an MOU with State University of Bangladesh,Dhaka to conduct collaborative programs
• Department of Computer Science had signed an MOU with Sansah Innovations Pvt Ltd to train our students towards Job Ready Courses, offer them internships and lead them towards placements

Workshops conducted:

• A Workshop on Natural & Sustainable Lifestyle Changes was organized for B.Sc -MPCs, MSCs, MSDS on 28 August 2023.The Resource Person was Mrs. Chiluvuri Kalyani, Proprietor of LK Eco Solutions.
• A 2 Day Online Workshop on Network Programming was organized for II PG(Maths with Computer Science) on 29 June 2023.The Resource Person was Arjun Rao,Associate professor, Aurora Degree & PG College on IP address, Server and Client Side and Socket Programming.
• An E- Workshop was conducted on Network programming and Analysis of Algorithms using Python on 26-27th June and 14th July2023, for M.Sc(Maths with CS) students,the resource person was Mr. Arjun Rao from Aurora College .

Collaborative Activities Conducted:

• Department of Computer science in collaboration with LTI mindtree & Placement Committee conducted a 3 day workshop on Artificial Intelligence and BlockChain technologies on 12th-15th February, 2024 for final year students of B.Sc. and B.Com.

Orientations/Career Guidances Conducted:

• Department of Computer science had conducted a Career Counscelling program for final year students on 16th February 2024. The Resource person is Ms. Marina Judy an Alumni of the Department.
• Department of Computer science in collaboration with Sansah Innovations Private Limited conducted an orientation program on “Robotics” on 5th October, 2023 for degree II year students of MPCS, MSCS, MSDS and B.Com (Bus. Analytics).
• An orientation session on certificate courses in AI and Data Science is organized by the Department of Computer Science for II Year B.COM and B.SC. Computer’s students. The resource person was Mr. Raj Paul from Don Bosco institute, Ramanthapur.

Alumni Interaction:

• Department of Computer science had conducted a Career Counscelling program for final year students on 16th February 2024. The Resource person is Ms. Marina Judy an Alumni of the Department.

Green Intiative:

• Department of Computer science and Physics disposed EWaste in collaboration with Earth Sense Recycle Private limited in eco friendly way on 13th March 2023.

Extension Activity:

• Department of Computer as part of extension activity has conducted "Pious Lab to Local Network" a one week computer training programme to students of Wesley High school from 8th August to 2nd September 2023.

Interdisciplinary Activity:

• Department of Computer science had conducted an interdisciplinary activity on memorising the parts of CPU for II MGC students on 14 February 2024.

Cursor Club

• Department of Computer Science celebrated its club day on 05th February 2024. As a part of it the Department faculty had conducted various competitions like pieces of Code, memorize, Quiz, Logo Legends and Rapid fire all based on various topics related to Computer Science
• An online Quiz is conducted by Computer Science Department on 11th May 2024 on the occasion of International Technology Day kept open to all computer science graduates of the college. The Quiz is created by faculty of Computer Science on Quizizz platform with 30 questions related to computer technology.

Lab/Facilities

• The Computer Labs are popular spot to work on projects and to carry out regular lab practical. Labs are equipped with high end PC computers, high speed network and storage, LCD projectors and printers.
• Computers have internet access and wide range of software applications – including Financial Accounting, Statistical, Programming, Multimedia and Simulation software’s.
• The department maintains departmental library with about 100 books for easy access to students.
