To provide Global competitive Faculty Development & Excellence

- Two faculty with PhD were recruited in 2021-22
- 93 faculty have attended various professional development programs and financial assiatnace of approximately Rs70000 was provided for the same
- 15 Professional Development programs were organised by the college for enhancing faculty excellence
- BOS Academic Council and Finance Committee constituted
- Two day Faculty Development programme on AUTONOMY- THE WAY FORWARD was organised by IQAC on 19th and 20th June 2023
- A Faculty Induction program was organised by IQAC on 2nd Aug, 2023 for faculty
- Two faculty members successfully completed a one-week short-term program on "National Education Policy: Challenges & Opportunities," organized by the HRDC, University of Hyderabad, from August 7–12, 2023.
- Three faculty members participated in a National Webinar on “Designing and Implementing an Effective Curriculum & Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programs,” organized by the Xavier Board of Higher Education in India with Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru, on August 2, 2023.
- Two faculty members participated in a UGC-sponsored 6-day short-term faculty training program on "Indian Knowledge Systems," organized by the UGC HRDC, University of Madras, in collaboration with the IKS Division of the Ministry of Education, New Delhi, from August 21–26, 2023.
- One faculty member participated in a one-day national-level FDP on “Green Audit & Energy Audit in HEIs,” organized by IOT Academy, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on September 4, 2023.
- One faculty member attended an International FDP on "Faculty Excellence in Teaching & Scholarships (FETS)," organized by Loyola Academy, Secunderabad, Telangana, in collaboration with the All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) and Asia Network of the United States, held on October 18–19, 2023.
- IQAC organized a workshop on “Seeking Government Funding Grants from Various Government Agencies” on December 20, 2023.
- Two faculty members completed the Master Trainer’s Faculty Training Program on “Indian Knowledge Systems,” organized by the IKS Division of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in collaboration with UGC-HRDC at National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, from March 18–23, 2024.

- Create Outcome based & Globally Sustainable Academic Excellence
- 20 academic clubs are installed.
- The Academic Audit for the year 2022-2023 was conducted on 5th and 6th June 2023.
- 19 collaborative activities were conducted for skill enhancement and placement training
- 20 MOUs were signed and 20 activities were conducted
- Pass percentage on an average was approximately 90%
- Guest lectures are organised for Expert inputs in various subjects
- Outcome based education is observed in terms of teaching and evaluation
- The IQAC, in collaboration with the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), organized an in-person information session on "Fulbright-Nehru and Other Fulbright Fellowships in the United States" for all teaching staff of the college on April 3, 2024.
- An orientation on "Career Guidance on Higher Education" was organized by the IQAC and the Student Development Cell, in collaboration with Career Vally, for all UG final-year students on February 16, 2024.
- 2039 sudents were benefitted by various programs offered for career guidance
- Mrs. Aarthi, HoD, Social Science along with students of I MBA attended G20 University Connect Engaging Young Minds, Lecture Series at PGRR center for Distance Education, OU, Hyderabad organized by Research and Information systems for Developing countries Hyderabad on 14th July 2023

- 15 faculty are invovlved in research projects, 3 teachers recognisedas guides, 14 dept invovled in research projects
- 1.78 lakhs received from governmental and non governamental agencies
- 19 workshops & seminars conducted on Research methodology IPR and Entrepreneurail skill Development
- An amount of 370000 approximately was spent for the following,466 book purchased 56 journals subscribed, enlisted in DELNET and NLIST
- Mrs. Malathi, faculty, Economics presented and published a paper on “IBC- Philosophy and Social Engineering Perspective - A Study” at Postgraduate and Research Department of Economics, Sacred Heart College, Autonomous, Tamil Nadu on 15th December 2023.
- Dr.P.Swapnapriya published a paper “Shakuntala Natake Bharateeya Samskruthi” at National Journal of Hindi and Sanskrit Research online Peer, Reviewed Journal, Impact Factor: 7.2,ISSN NO : 2454-9177, Volume : 53, Issue : March- April 2024
- Dr. S. Sreedevi, HoD, Department of Microbiology received the Certificate of Excellence in Peer - Reviewing in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the quality of journal, International Journal of Pathogen Research on 28th March 2024 and B P Internationals on 26th April 2024.
- An MoU was signed with Nizam College, Hyderabad, on October 28, 2023

To provide & internalize public engagement, outreach activities & Extension activities to transform students

- An MoU was signed with Voice4Girls under the ISR wing PEARL on November 10, 2023, to support the education of marginalized adolescent girls in rural areas.
- Eco friendly inititaives were encouraged like eco friendly dias, Eco friendly Diwali Campaign, Haritha haram activities and seminars onplastic pollution and organic farming, collection and safe disposal of E- waste and Paper waste sensitized the students about environmental sustainability.
Service to underprivileged
- A total of 107 programs were conducted and 2439 students participated
- 4 ISR clubs are formed
- The IQAC, in collaboration with the Department of Social Sciences, organized a Handloom Expo for college staff and students on August 5, 2023

To develop & empower women in nation building
|
- On 5th October and 8th January 2023 the Dept. of Social Sciences in collaboration with KSG Academy Hyderabad conducted orientations by Dr. A.R. Khan, Director, KSG group and on 15th September 2023 by Prof. K. Nageshwar Rao, Director of Civils Academy, Osmania University on how to crack civil services exam and a scholarship test.
- “Say No to War, and Say yes to Peace”. Students from BA presented Posters on Hiroshima Day on 24th August gave power point presentation on “Various International Wars in 20th Century” on 4th and 5th September 2023 and on “Social Media and its Usage” on 4th October 2023.
- On 25th January 2024, Chatter Box club organized a Reel Making competition based on the theme of Republic Day called as ‘#Reelitfeelit’.
- Paint your stress away", an art session on 13th September 2023 for students and faculty to relieve stress and promote mental health.
- World Mental Health Day was celebrated on 10th October 2023 where members came up with sticky notes, positive messages for students and faculty, surprising them with smiles and positivity. "DanStep Away from Stress" free-style dance was also organized to support mental health and relieve stress
- On the occasion of World Radio Day i.e,13th February 2024 the dept. started “ECHO - The Radio club” as a college Campus radio to inform, educate and to entertain the students every Tuesday.
- On 25th January 2023 the National Voters Day conducted an online quiz for BA students.
- On 22nd November 2023, Voter awareness programme was organised on account of Elections in Telangana.
- On September 14, 2023 dept. of Psychology in collaboration with Praan Mental Wellness conducted a Suicide Prevention Awareness Workshop to provide students with the necessary skills to identify warning signs and take appropriate action.
- The English department encourages students to attend Hyderabad Literary Festival every year to participate in Poetry workshops and other competitions. This year around 30 BA students attended HLF from 26th to 28th January 2024 at Sattva Knowledge City, Hyderabad.
- St. Pious X Degree & PG College is a Catholic minority institution for women established and managed by the congregation of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann founded in 1993 with 90 students enrolled in three undergraduate programs. - Administrative audit for the year 2022-2023, was successfully conducted on23rd June2023.
- On 23rd February 2024 the Dept in collaboration with Lions Club of Secunderabad organized a Mega Medical Camp which was open to staff, students, parents and neighbourhood.
- "Pious Lab to Local Network” was organised by the Department of Computer Science from 28th August - 2nd September, 2023 to reach the resident students in the neighbourhood to facilitate technical skills, sharing of resources and to encourage in learning basic Computers.
- Awareness program on traditional medicine - Acupressure and Mudras - was organized on 21st November 2023 for neighborhood women.
