About

BBA is a 2 year – Professional course affiliated to Osmania University and approved by the A.I.C.T.E. The course offers specialization in Finance, Human Resource Management and Marketing. It was established in the year 2009, As per the guidelines issued by Osmania University , the college has adopted the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) & will be following Cumulative Grade Point Average(CGPA) as per the norms from the academic year 2016-2017. with in a short span of time, it has carved a niche as one of the best colleges for its Academic standard.

In our department, teaching is not only a profession but a passion. It has an outstanding academic track record. Each and every faculty member interacts well with students and motivates them to pursue higher education. Faculty members identify the learners’ needs through assessment tests and interaction. Steps are taken to explore the hidden talent and originality among students. The department encourages student projects, arranges guest lectures by industry professionals and also organizes industrial visits on a regular basis.

Objectives

  • To provide knowledge regarding the basic concepts, principles and functions of management.
  • To provide knowledge and requisite skills in different areas of management like human resource, finance, operations and marketing to give a holistic understanding of a business system.
  • To equip the students with knowledge related to qualitative and quantitative techniques for critical thinking and problem solving.

Workshop:

The Department of Business Management organized a workshop on Cyber Security on 4th July 2025, aimed at enhancing digital literacy and security awareness among BBA II Year students. The session was conducted by Mrs. P. Soumya Sree, Assistant Professor, from Department of Computer Science.

Skill Enhancement:

The Department of Business Management organized an *Orientation Session on Employability Skills* on 24th September 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall. The session aimed to enhance the students’ awareness of the critical skills needed to thrive in a competitive corporate environment.

As part of the PUSH (Pious Up skilling Hub) initiative of the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell, the Department of Business Management organized training and guidance sessions for students to the students of BBA final year to pursue the NISM Series VA: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification in July 2025

  • The Department of Business Management has organised a guest talk on “Mirror Magic: Reflecting the best in you” for Ist BBA Students on 1 st July 2025 by Prof. Patrick from the Department of commerce (Osmania University), Public relation officer, BOS Chairman.

  • A guest talk on the theme "Goals, Planning & Scheduling" was organized on 30th June 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Silver Jubilee Hall. The session was delivered by Prof. Narendernath, a highly respected academician and motivational speaker known for his practical insights into time management and personal development.   • On 30th July 2024, Department of Business Management organised a guest talk on the topic “Leadership” for management students. The Guest speaker was Mr. Debojit Sen, founder at Crack-Ed, and a TedX speaker. It was a one-hour session that took place from 12:45pm to 1:45pm in the college auditorium. Around 120 students attended the session and it did well in building confidence and fostering positive changes in students’ attitudes and behaviours

  • Dr. R Sushama was invited as guest lecture by “School Of Management Studies” on 30th October 2024 to deliver a Guest lecture on the topic “Mastering the stock market: A complete beginner’s guide

  • The department of Business Management hosted a guest lecture on “Risk Management in Commercial Banks”, on November 30th, 2024.The guest speaker was Shri Veera Brahma Rao Arekapudi, an expert in the field of Finance. Students of MBA I year have visited “Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus” on 2nd August 2024, The visit was organized to provide students with firsthand experience of a cutting-edge innovation space, learn about ongoing projects, and explore the potential for future collaborations.

Students of MBA II year have visited “Economic Times” -Nacharam on 19th and 20th march. A total no. of 107 students have visited the industry in batches of two,which helped them to have practical insight of real-time work culture and work environment

The Impact Club Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-2026 was held on the 31st of July, 2025, with the objective of formally inaugurating the newly elected student leaders and coordinators of the club. The event was conducted in the college auditorium and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of all three years of the BBA program.

As part of the CARE WING initiative under the IMPACT CLUB, the Department of Business Management organized a Donation Drive on 11th September 2025. The drive aimed to provide essential groceries to children at Aashray Home Away From Home orphanage and to create awareness among students about the importance of giving back to society. The donations, totalling over 25 kilograms, were generously contributed by Business Management students. The items were selected based on the specific needs of the children, as communicated by Grace Mam, the warden of the orphanage.

Ms. Charitha and Ms. Rakshitha of BBA III and Ms. Apoorva and Ms. Amitha of MBA I had participated in the Regional Round of National Level quiz organized by National Institute of Securities Markets & SEBI at their Patalganga campus, Mumbai on June 29th and 30thM.Bindu (M.Sc physics 2015-17) has achieved 10th rank at university level (M.sc physics) Examination.
