The students of St. Pious X P.G (MBA) College for Women organised a state level ‘Management Meet’ “KRtya 2016” on the theme “Starts Ups – A New Era”, on the 21st of Nov 2016 drawing featuring innovators, Start-up Founders, Investors, Successful entrepreneurs & government officials. This event was organised to foster start – up ecosystem from the student entrepreneurs. A total number of 650 students from 40 colleges, from 5 districts of Telangana have participated in the meet.

Workshop on Start –ups A one day workshop on start – ups was organised by the Department of MBA in order to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit among the budding entrepreneurs through the product presentations of their Business ideas. The panelists and the resource speakers were Mr. Tanneru Suresh, Mr. Talla Veerendrenath and Ms. Janaki Ram who have also judged the product presentation.

Orientation on Placements was held on 28th Sep 2016 for 2nd MBA and on 3rd Oct 2016 for Ist MBA towards the achievement of excellence and success. 10students of II MBA are placed in Amazon & Genpact India.

FDPs & Workshops Mrs. K. Seanakantha attended a two day workshop on “Language Skills Development” organised by TASK at TASK office Begumpet on 19th and 20th 2016.

Mrs. C. Latha and Mrs. R. Sushma attended one day workshop on “Financial Derivatives” organised by Dept. of Commerce Osmania University

  • Library

    Our computerized library is stacked with a vast variety of books on various subjects, which are verified and updated every year personally by the staff members. MBA library consists of 3269 books, 20 National journals, 20 international journals, 8 periodicals, two e-journals, few CDs & DVDs, Xerox Machine and six computers.

    Important current topics are suggested to the students for group discussions. The students are allotted a library period during which they are supposed to read material relating to the topic and next day they are supposed to give a small presentation on what material they have gathered from the books, journals, internet and other sources. At the end, intervention by the other students and the faculty lead to interesting discussions.

  • Computer lab & LCD's in classrooms

    The lab accommodates 60 computers with internet connection and 3 printers to facilitate the students. This state –of-the-art lab with an ideal student ratio of 1:1 to sharpen technical skills and enable continuous support to students, helps in familiarizing them with tech-savvy modern work places and thus prepares them for their careers.

    All the classrooms are provided with a computer and LCD projector to enable the use of ICT resources for presentation of lectures by teachers and seminars by students. An Overhead Projector (OHP) is also available

    To encourage interactivity and creativity, in addition to the above facilities, an interactive board is made available in the Conference Hall where students present their seminars, prepared with the help of journals, periodicals and text books found in the library

    Conference Hall and Audio Visual Room A spacious, aesthetically designed air conditioned conference hall is a salient feature of the College. Various seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings are held here. It is well equipped and is used as a mini theatre hall for film shows as well, to inculcate more interest and passion among the students

  • Cafeteria

    A canteen with hygienic and appetizing items caters to the needs of the students and staff. A healthy breakfast, stimulating beverages and refreshments are made available here
